adult cervical connective [FBbt_00004019]

Adult tract connecting the brain to the ventral nerve cord (Ito et al., 2014; Court et al., 2020). It emerges from the posterior gnathal ganglion (Ito et al., 2014; Court et al., 2020) and consists of 4 bundles of neurites in two bilateral pairs (one dorsal pair, one ventral pair) (Power, 1948). It contains around 3700 axons (Phelps et al., 2021).
