adult doublesex SN (male) neuron [FBbt_00047355]

Doublesex-expressing neuron of the male that is found medially in the subesophageal ganglion (gnathal ganglion). There is one of these cells per hemisphere (Rideout et al., 2010). It is activated by the presence of females, but not males (Takayanagi-Kiya and Kiya, 2019).
