embryonic/larval posterior cervical tract [FBbt_00007126]

Tract that appears late in embryonic development and forms a connection between the basolateral protocerebrum and the ventral nerve cord (Younossi-Hartenstein et al., 2006). It is joined by the dorsal posterior protocerebral tract at the posterior boundary of the basoposterior medial compartment (Younossi-Hartenstein et al., 2003).
