larval Lgr3 neuron of pars intercerebralis [FBbt_00053589]
Larval neuron with its soma in the pars intercerebralis that responds to Ilp8 and expresses the Lgr3 receptor (Vallejo et al., 2015). It has thin dendrites that descend into the ventral nerve cord and extensive axonal arborization in the brain, with an axon that crosses the midline (Vallejo et al., 2015). There are two of these cells per hemisphere (Vallejo et al., 2015).

Larva Nervous system Neuron
Larval neuron with its soma in the pars intercerebralis that responds to Ilp8 and expresses the Lgr3 receptor (Vallejo et al., 2015). Based on Vallejo et al. (2015), this does not appear to project to the ring gland.
