Larval gustatory receptor neuron of the dorsal organ group. This neuron has a cell body in the dorsal organ ganglion and innervates the dorsal organ. There is one of these cells per hemisphere and it expresses Gr2a and Gr28a (Kwon et al., 2011. (Kwon et al., 2011)

Obsoleted as there is no distinction between A1 and A2 in Kwon et al., 2011 and these are likely the only two GRNs in the DO, if GRNs are present in the DO (Richter et al., 2024 - doi:10.7554/eLife.91155.2).
