Neuron that innervates the triscolopidial chordotonal organ of the lateral sensory cluster of the larval prothorax (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997). Unlike other prothoracic lateral cluster neurons, its axon fasciculates with the mesothoracic segmental nerve, rather than the prothoracic intersegmental nerve (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997). There are three of these cells on each side (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997).
