type II sensory neuron of shrubby fibers [FBbt_00004031]
Adult labial sensory neuron that has a wide field of arborization in the subesophageal zone with relatively thick fibers and dense branches (Nayak and Singh, 1985. It arborizes in the AMS, PMS and LS regions of sensory neuropil and may extend into the contralateral hemisphere (Nayak and Singh, 1985; Miyazaki and Ito, 2010. It innervates a labellar taste bristle (Miyazaki and Ito, 2010. (Miyazaki and Ito, 2010, Nayak and Singh, 1985, Shanbhag and Singh, 1992)
